WHO I AM

Hi! I’m Anita Chauhan, a creative UX & Product Designer with a love for learning, people, nature and problem solving. Born in India, raised in Britain and now settled in NJ, I have great respect for diversity and culture. Having traveled many countries with a multicultural background of my own, I’ve learnt how to understand a diverse range of people. This is why I’m known to be a people person, always creating positive vibes wherever I go with my friendly and vibrant personality.

MY BACKGROUND

Since my Biology degree, I have continued to improve my knowledge and skill set by completing a computer networking course, a software testing course, job related training courses and a UX/UI design course.  My previous experiences in employment have also allowed me to bring across transferable skills into UX design. My roles as a field engineer, fleet manager and IT support specialist have revolved around solving people’s problems. This is what I’ve enjoyed doing and it always makes me happy when users show their appreciation of my work.

MY HOBBIES

Other than my curiosity to learn more, I also enjoy dancing, glass painting, cooking, hiking and playing charades with friends and family. I meditate to help me keep a peaceful, focused mind and be the best version of myself every day. I believe the key to a good life is to keep on learning, explore new things and have a positive perspective.
